For seven months, I took conventional medicine for vertigo. It had side effects, and didn’t improve my symptoms, so I contacted Ursula. Ursula Lynch has been our family homeopath for over ten years (two adults and two children aged nine and six). She has been the most supportive and comforting practitioner. She is always on the other end of the phone when I need her to respond to the latest crisis e.g. when the children present unusual symptoms.
Ursula was a great support during two difficult pregnancies and two Caesarean Sections. The level of care she afforded me was second to none and I’m not sure I would have gotten through them so well without her. Following that, I found homeopathy to be a fantastic method of treating babies especially high temperatures, teething and sleeping.
Through Ursula, I have learned how to use my homeopathic first aid kit which is so successful in dealing with minor ailments and she has definitely increased my confidence around treating many illnesses myself. After suffering for four years with chronic dry skin on my ears and temples, severe itching and inflammation, consulting three doctors only to be told to 'just moisturise', to no effect! Up to then I only had relief for short periods from using cortisone cream. I believed that I would just have to put up with this somewhat distressing condition for the rest of my life.
After a lengthy consultation with Ursula I came to realise that is was a stress related condition. I spoke in detail of my life, dreams, stresses, work, family etc. I found this approach to be very different to any doctor I had seen. A holistic approach.
After taking my prescribed remedy my condition improved very dramatically within a short period of time. The inflammation and itch disappeared, to my joy. I am very delighted with the results after only two consultations. I now know how stress affects me and when I need a repeat of my remedy. Now I can wear dark jumpers with out worrying about the snow shower from my ears!!!!
